has anybody been and sat in the grandstands? reason i ask is i'm going to motogp and my friend is selling their grandstand tix but i just don't really see the reason...i never sit in one place and watch. thanks for any info

lucky bastard. i was trying to go but didnt jump on it a few months ago. then i just put it off until it got too late. next year ill definitely either go to indy for the F1GP, or laguna for the motogp.

although, i heard on the speed report there are talks of there being motogp race at indy next year. that would be tight, a hell of a lot closer.

2 would be pushing it

yeah, 09 is 'supposed' to be when they take motogp to indy so i'll probably wait for that...got a really good deal on everything for this year though. got it all paid for back in november - everything for under $900 each (hotel, flight, car rental, paddock etc). i hear they may not even be going back to laguna after 07 even though they signed up for five years. we'll see i guess

yeah, considering cbs has broadcasted a race and is supposed to do at least next weeks also and maybe more! hd motogp is the shit
