Default Insurance?

well, it looks like im putting the hayabusa on hold till my 22nd or 23rd B-day. the payments + insurance is retarded for a 21 year old. so instead, im looking to pick up a 02-03 GSXR1000 ( I dislike the feel of the agressive ergonomics on the 04+ bikes for suzuki). can anyone point me in the direction of an insurance company who will give me a monthly payment of 150 or less? ? thanks. oh and my record is clear except for a comprehensive claim I made last month when my car decided to eat a possum.

brett, you are correct, the insurance on the busa is seven dollars cheaper lol. but the payments on the busa would be about 300 a month. (3 year loan at about 8000-8500). gixxer 1000 will run me about 150-200.

good luck finding payments under 150 at your age for full coverage on a 1000. what's really strange is i bet your quote on a ducati would be next to nothing. i think they base the quotes on how many claims they have on that particular bike, and there aren't many ducs around.

i got quoted 8k a year for an rc51, but 1500 a year for a 996 that cost twice as much. wierd.

They will send you an online quote and when you call to start your policy, make sure you give them the K2J saving code.

I am paying $15 per month for my starter college bike. Its a 92 Yamaha Seca II 600cc.
I wanted to go to a f2 CBR next, but I will wait until I have a job to get a decent bike.
The Seca II has enough pep for a beginner.

i recently checked out some quotes at http://www.oneshopinsurance.com they have a couple of companies here.. but as far as i know, state Farm seems to have the lowest rate from what i've heard and Progressive's the high rater..
