whats up guys and girls? i've been looking for a gixxer 750 for quite awhile now. the only ones that have low-mid mileage and are in good shape are being sold for more than i want to pay for a used bike. i was wondering if someone can give me an idea of what to expect to pay if i were to buy a new one. my credit union is offering 4.5% loans up to 60 months right now, but if i go used it's 5.5% at 36-48 months. plus they will only loan the low end NADA value. given all this, i was thinking it might be worth my while to spend the extra couple grand for a new one. i know there are variables. i just want an idea from someone that has bought one or someone who sells them. thanks!

If you don't plan on keeping the bike long, don't waste your money on the depreciation of a new bike. The used bikes are going to run soundly as long as they've been taken care of, and the mileage won't be that big of a deal. Buy a used one and take the money you're going to save to buy enhancements. Just my opinion ...

go to clinton cycles in clinton md.best price hands down i left w/my 05 gixxer 1000 out the door for what most places are askin for the 750s and they where the ONLY place with the 05 1000 on the floor in stock have 5 on the floor still!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i agree with led, unless your planning on keeping it for 5+ years buy used, the market must have gone up because when i was looking before you could pick up clean 2004's all day long for about 5,500-6,000

I'd agree with that because I want to get a GSXR 1000 here soon, and I'd say the average for a newer one (03-04) is 7-8k
