Thanks, I am buying one from a friend and want to make sure that I shuld not have anything to worry about for a while with the motor

he did 288k miles, only things he replaced was plugs, ONE clutch, plugs, oil, tires, and adjusted the vavles a few times. compression was way down compared to when he first checked it, but still ran perfectly fine and never gave him issues.

if ur going to run it hard.. then u need to do so from day one.. if u baby it then beat it, it wont last.. if u beat it then keep beating it hard.. mahah
but really just keep on top of everything.. like i check my bike once a week.. change the oil every 2 weeks, plugs once a months, air filer cleaning once a month(kn).. keep ur tire psi in spec. chain lubed, keep everything clean, lubed.. cables, lever,pegs, kick stand ex ex
