how to install undertail kit on f4i??
I just got a undertail kit (no instructions) and im not too sure how to install it. I looked around on the internet a little bit and eveyone says to just cut a little at a time and keep tryin to fit it, dose anyone no how to do it the right way lemme no please thanks and the bike is a 2001 honda f4i

you have to cut everything off that hangs below the lower edge of the tail (viewed from the side), then it will slip right in.
why are there? no instructions? some cheap e-bay undertail?

k i got it on just need help with wat wires go to wat... the wires on the bike are green/yellowline, green, black/yellowline for the tail lights and brake... the turn signals are green, pink and green, orange
the wireing for the new lights are yellow, red, black, blue .. and the same for the other light
(its the type with 2 circle led lights with turn singals in them)

blue is signal, red is acc power, yellow is 12v constant, blk is ground, if you have a voltage meter or test light i can walk you thru it

hook the yellow wire to the wire under the rear seat that read 12v at all times with the key in any position or the battery , the red wire goes to the wire on your bike that has 12v when the key is in the on position, blue will go to the wire that shows 12v when the blinkers are on and the key is in the "on" position, the black is a chasis ground or you can go to the negative terminal on the battery.

on a honda (the factory wiring) blue is the right turn signal (+), orange is the left turn signal (+), green is ground for the signals and the brake/tail light, and i don't remember which is which for the tail/brake light (+)'s.
