Its not really hard. Just take your time and keep notes. Its a great time to learn your bike from top to bottom.

thanks for the offer, but thats way more then i planned on paying. my dad has a hook up that i can get it painted for free, and the powder coating will be cheap.

thanks though

nothing is free in life...

you think someone is going to spend hours prepping and spend2-300 in materials and actually do a decent job ...you have another thing coming...

powdercoat will cost 2-400..depending on how many pieces you get done...

but good luck..

ya, i know it will be a good paint job. my dad works with painters, and powder coaters. like i said, thanks for the offer, but for 2700 i can buy a few new sets of plastics. im not even really worried about the painting of the plastics, its the stripping down to the frame that i really need someone to do.

the paint and powder is on you, but if you're looking to have someone strip the bike and then put it back together, I can help you with that. I can have it to the bare frame in a couple hours (used to work at a MC salvage yard, lol) putting it back together would be a lil longer. It's always quicker taking things apart than it is putting it back together RIGHT, so the assembly always takes longer than dis-assembly.

I'm sure alot of people here would vouch for me, since you're a newbie here and don't know me from adam. PM me if you want. I try to keep buisness off the forum as much as possible.
