HONDA HAWK GT !!!! my new toy
 

I have been without a Motorcycle for over a year. I had to sell my 71 triumph and My k6-750 GSXR that I was building last year to come up with a DOWN Payment for my House. I just SOLD my Boat and had been looking for a MID 70z honda CB or Cj to build a Cafe' racer again. YET I came across this 1989 Honda Hawk GT 650. I have always been a FAN of the VFR Honda or really anything with a SINGLE SIDE SWING ARM.

So I pick this up this weekend instead or the classic 70z !!!!

1989 Honda HAWK GT 650
1996 F3 CBR front end w/Dual disk
Ducati Monster seat
Stage 1 carbs
and custom pipes
besides that it is pretty much stock witch is good I didnt want to TRY to finish up someones HACKED up project. But this was done Really nice with the rear subframe Mod

I would like to update the rear Rim with the lug conversion and add the VFR Rim
and do a cleaner wire tuck and get rid of a few unused items to strip it as naked as I can get the bike to be. its a MIX of STREETFIGHTER yet Narrow like a CAFE Racer !!

have a vfr rear wheel at the shop if you want to run a 180 on the rear. Have the hub and everything you need to make it fit too. just sayin...

makes me miss my old hawk!

haha ya steve knows I dont keep bikes long but this might be a change, im going to try and hold on to it since I dont have as much PLAY Money as before beening a NEW Home Owner like before..

yep Richmond c.list It was it was up there for a while...

I gotta get the jet 3 Kit and air pods 1st but I would have to get that swing arm Wheel set up 2 nd.. unless you need anything PAINTED !!!!!

shaved all the unNeeded stuff and hangers on the subframe !!
and working on a wire tuck !!!
