High idle problem
Well i washed and waxed the bike today and then ate chistmas dinner. Went to go start the bike and it only wants to idle at 4500. I cant figure it out. I watched the Throttle and it seemed to be working properly. Any ideas?

Re: High idle problem
So i took of the tank and found out the peace that connects the choke cable to the carbs is not returning when i unchoke it. Tryed to lube it up still wont return. I have to use a screwdriver and wedge it back to non choke mode. any idea what i need to replace?

Re: High idle problem
upon further inspection it seems the cable is frayed on the section thats actually in the little thumb switch for adjusting the choke it self. Disconnected the cable from the choke valve selector how do i get it off the handle bar so i can replace it. Cant seem to figure out how it detaches.

Re: High idle problem
You just need to take the control housing apart. There should be 2 phillips screws holding it together. If you are still having trouble you can always bring it to us! We pick up too!
