Default Helmet holder

I have seen some guys riding with their spare helmet down under the rear tail on the frame. I was just curious how they get it to stay there. I have an 06 R6 and there is really no way to carry a spare helmet except with a net over the back seat. So I was just curious how they got that to stay there. I would be interested making something to make it work. Thanks for any information. any pictures would be nice too.

Under the cowl and the passenger seat of my gixxer there is a hook..you hook the d ring on it and you are good to go not sure about the r6 but pop the passenger seat and take a peek . But be careful it still moves around a little so it can scuff the paint over time. I also use mine to lock my helmet on my bike when I go somewhere if it is not a questionable area ..

yeep, check under the seat, should be a hook there for your helmet to hook on...just make sure you hear the seat click when you close everything up...seen a seat or two lost due to this!!!

Yea.. I have straps and hooks under my seat for it.. but I has put small scuffs in the paint. So I was looking for an alternative method of caring a helmet. When I seen that I was like.. THATS IT!!!
