helments
just wanna get some opinions on helmets, everybody wears the same style bell,snell,arai etc. i wear a simpson helmet "super bandit". I only see people ridng bikes with these style helmets are at the track. any reason that is? just some thought

http://www.langsyne.net/images/fent.jpg I've been wearing my pyrotect pro-airflow for a while on the bike since I already had it, but just ordered an actual motorcycle helmet (scorpion exo-1100) car helmets and bike helmets are different in terms of aerodynamics and protection. just because it has a DOT stamp or even snell SA cert, doesn't mean it's a good helmet for on a bike. eye port size, aerodynamics, venting, and lots of other stuff is different between a motorcycle and car helmet. |

one too many knocks on the head causes one to think that there is an N in helmet.

The super bandit is a fire-retardant automotive helmet maybe that's why?
