NORFOLK – A motorcyclist died when he crashed going more than 100 miles an hour, Virginia State Police said.
The crash occurred around 12:40 a.m. Thursday on I-64 west at Chesapeake Boulevard.
According to investigators, Adolphe Thornton, Jr., 34, of Joyner Street in Norfolk, was speeding and lost control.
The crash backed up traffic for several hours.

i've been into the local sportbike scene since about 96-97.... it's the same thing every year.
though, the last few years or so have been rediculous. i sure do miss the "Good 'ol days".

I've been around here since '88 on sportbikes...seen a lot go down. Fortunatly, didn't know most of them, but it still hurts...I am glad I lived through my stupid years...somehow.
