Default Have a question.

Anyways, I have about 1000 saved towards a bike. I can either take out a loan for about 4k and get a relatively decent bike and make payments or save up for another year or two and own the bike. I'm in school full time and don't have time for a full time job, so I work part time. What's the cheapest monthly payment for insurance I can get while paying off a loan?

Pay the DMV $500 non-insured motorist fee and your set. Just don't crash into anybody.

Awesome, I didn't know you could do that. That work even with bikes you have loans on or are the laws different?

That's dumb. Take into consideration the idea you wreck. What happens then? You pay out of your pocket for the damage and your own injury's and maybe the other person's. You'd be better off looking around and calling every insurance company you know of for a quote.

liability is cheap for a bike...full coverage gets expensive. i pay 125 a yr w/ no tickets.

I want insurance, I just am not able to pay the quoted 400 a month if I get a financed bike and won't be able to pay straight cash for one for a year or two. Kind of at a loss for what to do. With everything going on in my life it seems like a bike is the only thing that could perk me up.
