Default Hand grips

Whats the best way to remove hand grips? Last time i just kinda ripped them off but there has to be an easier way.

twist and pull your heart out...

ive heard of putting soapy water up in there, but then it might slide around and so on with your new ones. ive only changed one pair, im sure someone else will chime in...

blow in the end with compressed air, they'll blow up like a balloon and come right off. if you're not going to re-use them, just slice them lengthways with a razor blade.

spray the new grips with hairspray on the inside, and slide them on. when the hairspray dries, they won't move around on you. carb or brake cleaner works too.

I planned on using the razor again. A friend of mine told me about the hairspray a while back when i used to bike. Does it work as well as the grip glue they sell?

I used a chop stick and soapy water to get them off. And hair spray 2 attach new ones

yup. once it dries...it's not gonna move.

I was surprised when I first heard about hair spray, but that's what everyone says to do.

yeah, actually anything that dries relatively quickly without leaving any slimy residue will work. hair spray just works good b/s it dries all sticky like.

Plus you can use it in place of starch for clothes
