In an effort to help get the local community together for a nice ride, we (VAcycles.com, coming soon) have decided to host a group ride. We would like EVERYONE to participate. All bikers are welcome, sportbikes, cruisers, road-legal dirtbikes, scooters, it's all good!

Date: July 25, 2009
Time: Cruise Leaves @ 8:30am, Estimated to finish @ 12pm
We will officially congregate at the Plaza Azteca on Holland Road in VA Beach at 8am, leaving the parking lot promptly at 8:30am

Route:
Start: Plaza Azteca in VA Beach, on Holland Road (8:30am)
-Head south on S. Plaza Trail
-Turn left onto Princess Anne Road
-Turn right onto Seaboard Road
-Turn right back onto PA Road
-Follow PA Road to the end of NC-615 (9:30-9:45am)
-Board the Knotts Island Ferry (free) Check Here for Info (10am)
-Exit Knotts Island Ferry in Currituck, NC (10:45am)
-Head north on Tulls Creek Road
-Head north on 168 - Battlefield Blvd - Centerville Trnpk
-Head east on Mt. Pleasant
-Left onto Salem Road
-Left onto PA Road
-Left onto S. Independence Blvd
-Right on Commuter Drive
End: Plaza Azteca (11:45am)

After Cruise Events:

Photoshoot of participating bikes and riders

This cruise will be an opportunity to voice your suggestions as to how we can make VAcycles.com a great site for everyone. We will be issuing suggestions cards and surveys to help us get a feel for exactly what the people want.

The pictures taken during this photoshoot will be available for us to use on VAcycles in graphics such as webpage layouts and in the gallery. This cruise will be the first photos posted in the group meet gallery.

If anyone has any suggestions or comments for this meet, please post. We thought two weeks notice would be enough to prepare for this cruise.

nice route, you may want to head off of 168 and go down around the tulls creek area. better scenery than 168 the whole way
