Default To frame slider or not frame slider... that is the question...

So... what do you guys think about frame sliders? Unfortunately for the F4i no cute frame sliders is not an option. They protect your plastics and crush your engine according the CBR forums, and im not going to try to find out. The plan is to have the bike painted and if I can figure out how to get her back together and check the valves (because I want to make sure she's good) then all goes to plan, I will have a bike in mint mechanical and cosmetic condition.
So my question is frame sliders... I use to hate them and I guess would rather not have them, but with ALL this work going into the bike, I don't have her tipping over or me doing something stupid and ruining her. So my question is, if you were in this situation... what would you do?
Also stickers... should I put new stickers on her or just keep it one solid paint color no stickers? Thanks for the help. I know its all opinion based, but I would just like to get to know what you guys think.

I look at frame sliders like I look at condoms...better have them and not need them than need them and not have them.

haha good call. Honestly if I could get good no cut frame sliders it wouldn't even be a quesiton. Also don't know what it will do to the value of the bike either... I know, like with the paint, its my bike, but I'm loving those RRs... lol

I say do both.

I have heard rumors about crushig the engine, but more often than not they do their job without any other damage. And personally, there aren't many bikes that look good to me in one solid color. I think stickers/decals help break it up. Just dont go crazy with it.

The one thing I never liked about CBR fairings. My first bike was a 00 CBR600F4 and I never got the balls to cut the fairings to install the sliders. As for the stickers, it's all preference, do what you like.

Its not ALL of them just the no cut ones on the F4i. I think I'm just going to cut as small a hole as possible and get some black ones so it just adds to the bike. From what I've seen they can look pretty damn good if the hole is small and the frame sliders aren't excessively protruding.
