Default Financing???

Well Im thinking about using my tax return to get me another bike. Im not finding anything I want used so I think I might try to get a new bike. Heres the problem. I have 2 car payments on my credit now and dont have excelent credit. Do any of you guys know, who have bought new, how hard it might be for me to get one financed? Id prolly put about 1500-2000 down.

depends on your debt to income ratio, im guessing itll be kinda high with 2 payments. i got turned down with two car payments cause my wife wasnt workin at the time and they said my debt to income was too high for a bike, but they said i could get a car

I got a feeling thats what they are gonna tell me too. Between my wife and myself we make about 3500-3800 a month and pay out 700 for two car payments, and 1400 for the house. I guess all I can do is check it out.

Wierd I have 3 cars financed at 1550/month, house payments of 1600/month and had no problem getting refinanced on one of the cars for a lower rate making only 4500/month.

from what i understand, the down payment will obviously make your payments less, but if a bike costs 10,000 whether your not putting down a dollar and going to finance every penny, or if you put down 9,999 and finance $1 it doesn't make any difference as far as getting approved because they are looking at approving you for the full $10,000 either way
