Cycle whore thread
2 grand is waaaay too much for me to be dropping for a 2 day camp.
I've noticed moto salvage auctions let bikes go really damn cheap if you don't need the title, I could make quite a few nice little racers out of bits and pieces and sell the salvageable oem stuff.

The other website I saw has class for 6xx with their bike and 4xx with yours? Over two days that's 8xx with your bike?
The Steam Punk CB350 is done, "Isabel" has a copper plated frame and a even copper fuel lines.

Spoiler
The other place has the intro course with 7 20 minute sessions including a mock up race for like 400ish. Rest of the time it's lectures on what you should be doing in the next 20 minute session.

Can't justify putting a street legal bike on the track. Too much wasted $.
Maybe their two day camp with the BMW S1000RR is 2k lol.
I'm just going to end up using the SV. Perfect training bike IMO. Plus if I go down owell, i fix it and not give two fucks.
They have it at one school where you can use their bike for 6xx. That's still not bad if you want to go out and don't have a spare bike.
I don't know what I saw, but I could have sworn it was 2,000 for the weekend. 800 is very reasonable. I'll be deciding what direction I want to go with tracking this summer most likely. If I don't track the cafe bike out of respect for its age, I will probably pick up a wrecked 749, as they seem to be very available on the auction market.

I don't mind that, but street bikes that will never see a drag strip that are stretched? No thanks. I just find them hideous, IMHO for a street bike.
