No that is the problem with the American attitude. After riding a 500 for literally half a decade I can tell you that they are perfectly powered, and a little overpowered to tell you the truth. If you want to take trips you want a bike like that anyways since it gets insane gas milage. Americans just believe that you need to have all this power at once, hell in japan you can buy 400 cc tuned sport bikes that can take out 600's but the American market wont buy it because they look at the engine displacement and think it is a scooter.
