Can't speak for others, but the Honda 600RR has a notoriously hard seat.....it was worth the money for my big arse.

So is this another way of lowering the bike(well not really)? How many inches is this lower the stock?

i had one on my sv when i got it. i was comfy, but it forced you to sit real far back on the seat..... not comfy with gsxr clip-ons , and deffinately no good for a race bike. couldn't move around on the seat very well.

depends on the bike. It actually slightly increased ride height on my Honda....ie, thicker than factory.

most newer honda sportbikes has pretty much NO padding in them, so a corbin would be a lil higher. also, most corbin seats force you to spread your legs a lil more when your feet are on the ground. something to consider if you are already having a tough time touching the ground. it's more prevalent on some bikes than others though.
