clutch install help??
 

i need to put a clutch and cable on this 2001 r1 i bought back. anybody wanna help or do it. ill pay a fair price.

lol. nah no service manual. otherwise i would try it myself. i just remember last time i did a clutch job was on my 97 yamaha banshee and it took me forever because i couldn't get the kickstarter right. i just dont want to pay a dealer an arm and a leg. im in fredericksburg. i can't do anything for a few days as im taking the bike to richmond tom. and having a new subframe put on.

retail is $95.99... but if you can find OEM for a decent price its better

i can do the clutch cable for free and im in the richmond area, i just did mine less than a week ago, its cake man, took 10 mins my first try. seriously simple. ill help if i can.

i just bought everything today. all oem from yamy. cable, friction plates, other plates, two plates behind the basket, gasket, and springs for 174. that should have been a good deal.

have don full clutches on dirt bikes, and street bikes before...its super simple, been working on bikes most my life....i can help if price is right....50 bucks....would do it...
