Like most said, get that M designation and you should be ok in court.

 

Even if you get your liscense theres a 50/50 chance you'll get off. A buddy of mine got busted, still got his liscense before the court date and was hit up with a fine and driver improvement school. (although having nothing to do with a problem in his driving, just lacking the class M, they still made him take it. Just away for the commonwealth to suck your ass for money)

 

Referring to yourself in the third person probably won't help either.

 

i would get the permit and take the class. like nate said it has nothing to do with it but if you go ahead and take the class it will look bettter on you in court. and if he was gonna sentece you to it you will alreday have it done. plus if i remember right if you take it without having the court order it gives you some + points on your license

 

Strange, I have been pulled over twice with only a motorcycle permit and a regular drivers license (no M class) and one time the officer didn't say anything, the other time the officer just asked me why i wasn't riding with someone that had a license, i told him that i was riding with a couple of licensed guys but i lost them at a light and they kept on and he just told me to be careful and have fun.

 

Look.. take your permit test.. then hold it for 30 days.. get your court date continued and go get your license as soon as possible. Go to the DMV on First colonial. Their motorcycle test is cake. Takes all of about 15 min and you dont have to do the cone thing.

I rode for a year without it and got pulled twice, both times they let me go without citing me for it... just go get one before you go to court and they will dismiss it.
