Default can any one answer these questions

first of does any one know if va will let you register a bike titled in some one elses name. i just bought my brothers bike and wont get the title till july but i dont want to wait that long to ride it. second how much would it cost to get a valve job done 0n a 2002 gsxr 600. he said it needs one every 15000 miles and its right there. and lastly is there any good riding groups to join up with in the beach area. well that should be it. thanks for any answers you can give me.

I know of a great group of riders in the area.............they can also help with that valve job: for about 1/4 of what a shop will charge you!

suzuki says to have your valves checked/adjusted every 14000 miles and it's in a tune up that usually run you upwards of around 200-400 depending on your area/labor rate/what all you're having done. most of em don't end up needing anything done but it's reassurance if you have the money i guess.
and about registering a bike that has a title not in your name. isn't that just like registering a bike that has a bank's name on it until you pay off the loan??? i don't see why not
