I'm sure we'll hear something from them soon. Reading back about their radial 500s, I surprised anyone runs these TOMBstones at all lol I know they are going in the same category as Continentals/Generals for me now.

I've had great results with my Conti's. Even track days.

drag or autox? I used to swear by the General Exclaim UHPs til they weren't stocked anywhere any longer. Had to get my last set ordered from some warehouse. Sidewall failure cost me a car...and they squeeled like stuck pigs anyway.

Dunlops or bust for me from now on. Even their DZ101s did pretty well for the price, but the star specs have proven great ever since. I think even PZ900s out perform the Exclaims

One of my regulars just rolled in on his 07 CBR 1K talking about how hes been riding all year round but this weathers awesome. I asked what tire's he rocks.... stock BattleAx's.

Showed him the pics and he literally turned chalky LOL. Got a feeling he's ordering some new tires soon.

Even though the thread is about bike tires I just +'d you because that's EXACTLY how I feel about the Star Specs and the DZ101s both are great tires for the respective price!

Well the issue stemmed from bike tires, but the thread is about their poor customer service. Then I brought up the history of their tires altogether, which comparatively has proven pretty poor overall.

I thought we were talking motorcycle tires.....my first trace day at VIR was on Conti Road Attacks- they did well for my skill set that day.

It all reflects evenly IMO. If they make shitty car tires, their bike tires most likely suck as well. I knew you were talking bikes still, but wanted to know how you ran them since you said you liked them. I just compared my experience with the General's top of the line UHP summer tire, to other's in the same price range. I don't trust tires that sit around in warehouses, and aren't stocked locally anymore.
