Bleeding Brakes
ok so i just put a new reservoir on the back brake(an apperance thing) anyway, i have been bleeding them but i cant get anything but air to come out, am i doing something wrong?? any one have any suggestions or willing to lend a hand??? dont really want to have to bring it to a shop and pay them a stupid amount of money, thanks alot
heres a good tut, just ignore the part about flushing the system and get to the bleeding part
dont know if it works for bikes buut maybe the same? if someone can verify

i think that bleeding the brakes is pretty much the same for bike and cars, ive been doing all that but i still cant get anything, im thinking that there is a big bubble or something in the line and i just dont know what to do...
let it sit for 30min or so with the reservoir full, then continue the routine pump, hold, open bleeder, close bleeder, release. It may take a little while but will eventually bleed. Also make sure the reservoir is at the highest point of the brake system.
what do you mean by realease, do you put a tube or something on the bleeder valve or do you just let it come out???
i was putting a tube into water so air wouldnt get back in but it was a pain in the ass.....plus idk if the tube was working so good....

Make sure you tighened everything down good, not too good, but good. Then do the gravity bleed trick. Just open the bleeder screw and the master cylinder cap and let fluid run out of the screw while making sure the master cylinder never runs dry. like 10 minutes should be more than enough. If you still have no pressure check for trash between any mating surfaces. good luck
