Default best insurance company?

Alright well im 22 and ive been thinking about getting a bike for some time now but i have no clue what insurance is gonna cost me. I went to gieco.com and did the free online quote thing and it said like over 4k a year or something but that was getting comprehension and collision.without that it was dirt cheap. which i don't know if people with bikes really even do?? but anyway what insurance do you guys use and what do you all pay a year? ive also had no tickets.

thanks

State Farm was by far the cheapest for me.

Your best bet is to call around for quotes. There are just too many variables to consider. I called State Farm, Geico, Allstate, and Progressive. Progressive was the lowest for me. Liability is pretty cheap with any company you go with. I would suggest paying the extra for full coverage especially since it sounds like it's your first bike.

I always hear Progressive being good (I pay $30 something bucks a month) as well as State Farm (just haven't gotten a quote from them). But you should try dropping the collision and keep liability and comprehensive, the comprehensive shouldn't make your premium increase too much and it'll cover you in case of theft, vandalism, weather, etc.

Watch out for the search police, they'll get you everytime.
