Default Begining Rider Coarse

Does anyone know if you need a Driver's Liscence to participate in the BRC?

The MSF course? Not sure, I think they did ask to see my license when I took the course, but I am not sure if it was because they needed an id or an actual license.

No, you do not need a motorcycle license for the MSF beginner class. They actually just changed the rule here in VA, so once you pass the class you actually get your M license. They give you a 30 temp license to ride on, and you have 1 year to go to the DMV and just show them the card to get it printed permanently on your license. No other skills or written tests. Just pass the class. It's a straight forward class I just took it 3 weeks ago.

they tell you when you sign up for the course online and during the course. he also mentioned that he just took it 3 weeks ago. i took it about the same time as well and have my M certification on my license now as well. You will need your license on the final day so they can fill out the necessary paperwork to send to dmv i believe. They asked everyone to show it at some point, but i can't remember if they took it and copied it or just looked at it and gave it back.
