Back on the street

Well on a "real" bike that is. Since I'm back in school I really don't have as much time or money for track days or any racing so decided to take all the good stuff off the track bike and put it back on the street. Nothing exciting to look at, only things not stock on it are the built forks, braided lines, and chain and sprockets which I will all probably take off soon enough anyways. But its pretty fun to ride on the street again on a sport bike after a year off, scooters still the ride of choice though. Really thinking about a super motard now, need a happy medium between performance and hooliganability.

what you need is a super-moto scooter :D

i know there's a bunch of companies making 50cc and below mini-moto's. dunno if they'd be street legal though.

haha dude thats just what i've got, this picture is actually of it clean, usually after a weekend of riding you can't tell what color it is

but yea a mini-moto would be sick, especially living in downtown richmond, its like a giant intersecting web of gravel alleyways and dirt bike trails all over the place... once i sell the gsx-r i've been thinking about a maybe building a drz125 or crf150 motard... the scooter is so much fun but something with a clutch, gears, and maybe 15 more mph would be ideal

you can pick up used zumas for about $1,200 on average i would say... i got mine not running for a ridiculous price, put a new spark plug and fresh gas in it and it was as good as new... and believe me i don't care how used it is, you cannot hurt these things if you try, because i've tried, and it still runs perfect... they are so much fun... i rode a honda ruckus and although it looked cool it just didn't have any balls, this scooter isn't a rocket or anything but around the city or off road it has enough to have fun and get hurt, plus for like $350 you can have a pipe and 80cc big bore cylinder and go 60 mph if you want more
