Asking price?
 

Hey guys, not too familiar with bikes so I need some help. I recently picked up a 2000 Kawasaki ZX-9R, it was wrecked so it's missing the entire headlight/plastics and the body plastics are cracked to hell and ziptied together dori style. Other than that it has 25K on it, and runs like it's brand new. Has a jet kit/chopped yoshi exhaust ad new tires. What is a reasonable price to ask for it?

2000 zx9r with average milage ave retail is $4200 considering the damage you could probably start the asking price with 25k miles at around $3500 and probably end up getting $2500-$3k... I have a a 2000 zx9r with 10k miles for sales as well. Streetfightered out and I am starting price at $4k only because of the milage on the motor but I know resonably what I will end up getting for the bike but everyone wants something for nothing so you almost have to start prices high around here unfortunetly !!!

You are not getting $3,500 for that bike. Especially not at this time of year. good luck though.

That's cool, I bought it for $1800 and put $200 into it. Keep in mind im in FL and it was 105 w/heat index today, it's still riding weather here;)
