What happens during the Rally?
On Friday we have a meet and greet, which is a barbecue where everyone gets together to meet everyone else, whether they are friends from previous years or new people we haven't met yet. Saturday many people go on rides together, although there are no more group rides, if you follow the riders that are familiar with the area, they can show you some great roads and a good time. Saturday night we have the Banquet. At the Banquet there is a fully catered meal and then we have the prize giveaway. The registration fee covers dinner and the prizes. There is always some really sweet prizes given away every year, such as a 1pc leather suit, or a helmet, bike parts, gloves, etc. After dinner there is usually at least 1, if not more, campfires where the adult beverages are brought and everyone has a good time. (even if your name is teri)
Sunday is usually recuperation and packing, and leaving.
Where does the National SV Rally take place?
The National SV Rally is based at Fontana Village, which is just 11 miles from the famed Tail of The Dragon in Northwestern North Carolina. Most Rally attendees stay in Fontana Village, which is where we have negotiated reduced rates.

I am down to camp out, we can get a cabin, whatever... Will need a truck or whatever to trailer the bikes down. The more riders we get form the area the more fun we could have.. PM me if you're interested.

Deals Gap is very fun, as long as you do it responsibly (i think thats a word). Just dont go out there on a busy weekend and expect or try to break the time record through there.
