Just wondering if anyone has the undertail on their bike? Im thinking about getting one and was just wondering if anyone had any complaints with theirs and how hard they are to install. Im assuming they just kinda bolt on but you never know. Dont know how to post pictures so here is a link

some just bolt up, some require a little dremeling of the stock undertray... i've had them on every bike i've owned and have never had much trouble installing them and think they look much better

its real easy, the only problem i had on my gixxer is that it is lowered and i am a fat ass so i had to trim it in the back so it would not rub..

Thats cool. I figured it would be pretty simple. Im pretty sure im gonna get one before spring, and I agree with you Del, every bike ive seen with one I think looks alot better.

Seeing as how I have (virtually) the same bike as you, I'll tell you of my ordeal.................................


Bought mine from eurobikes.com. I had to cut out basically my whole storage area and move my lock location. Then get a bracket for my blinkers and license plate.

I would stear away from that undertail if it comes with integrated blinkers in those rear lights. Those are illegal here in Va. You either have to have four blinkers that work or none at all, and then use hand signals.

if its a 01-03 f4i its no big deal... if its a 04 or 05 which went back to the F4 like CBR600's bike then yea i hear its a big PITA
