I've been around here for a couple of months reading up on bikes and gear and what not. With my MCSV date comming up at the end of July I though it was about time to get some gear and start breaking it in. I ended up picking up an xpert leather jacket and a pair of teknic leather/kevlar gloves from Ken's cycle shop in sandston and just I also ordered a KBC VR-1 Helment from helment harbor (euro red,white,blue with a smoked lense too). So with that out of the way I'm a couple of steaps closer to finally feeling I'm ready to shop for a bike. Special Thanks to Bret (Del La Sol) for the info and helping me get some good gear.

Hopefull by this fall I'll be in two wheels and can meet some more of you guys.
I'm thinking I going to shop for an SV650s or an Ninja 500r. Whichever I can get a better deal on. If anyone is thinking about selling one this fall let me know. Maybe we can work something out.

We will defiantly have to meet up and ride once you get one. When are you looking to buy? Ive rode the SV650 a few times and they are awesome bikes. Plenty of power but rides smooth.

sv650 are a pretty sweet bike, thinking about maybe picking up one as a second bike.
