wow, im sorry to hear. I hope the guy recovers to the fullest extent and will still be able to ride. The guy who wrecked into him deserves no mercy in the courts and should be punished to the upmost extent for running.

Just an update. I spoke with Willis yesterday. He's really out of it. I have been trying to keep in touch with Laura and Blythe to make sure he's being taken care of to their standards. If anyone wants to send him well wishes, you can for free....

You can send Mike emails and well wishes to: health.line@hmc.halifax.org Attention Mike Caddy
I think that this is the greatest thing. I had no idea that hospitals did this.

“Get Well Soon” Patient E-mail is checked Monday – Friday at 9 a.m. (except holidays). It is delivered to patients around 11 a.m. on those days.

E-mail received after a patient has been discharged will be discarded.
This e-mail service is set up only to receive messages, replies will not be sent and receipt/delivery confirmation will not be provided. If you need to contact a patient directly, please call the hospital switchboard at 386-254-4000.

All e-mail messages will be treated with as much care and confidentially as possible when received. However, general Internet e-mail is not secure. Messages of a confidential nature should not be sent via e-mail.
