Re: 205mph clocked RC51
This is really, really old news.
I heard about it on a few forums a while ago. The guy in the aircraft was clocking two vehicles at the same time, the RC-51 being one of them. All he had to do was get his bike dyno'd and that would have proven that speed with him on it was impossible.

Re: 205mph clocked RC51
think he's just showing he was sentenced finally. it's old, but yeah...the tech he took the bike to said it wouldn't exceed 159mph. even the cop said it wouldn't go as fast as 205. funny he still got charged for every mph over the speed limit and the cop said that. typical

Re: 205mph clocked RC51
yea he had it dyno'd and it topped in the 150's... someone that knew their bikes and phsyics went as far as to show what gearing and power it would take to go 205 and for one there are no sprockets on the market that will allow it to reach that speed, and aside from a 100,000 nicky hayden superbike motor there is just no way it has enough power to reach that speed even if you had custom sprockets made... i can't believe it wasn't thrown out of court
