03 kx125 start-up issues
I just picked up an 03 kx125 from a member on here the other day. Went to fire it up this afternoon, and it did that, but bogged out. I try to start it up, and nothing. I have since been trying, with periods of rest in between to keep from flooding the engine, for the past hour or two. I've removed the air filter, and cleaned it. I've cleaned out the carb. I've checked for spark. I've done just about everything i can think of, short of checking compression and changing the fuel. Does anyone have any ideas here??
Thanks...
Thanks...

The plug is brand new, I put it in about 20 minutes before he got it. I also told you that the bike needs to have the choke on and give it a little gas to get it started when it's cold like this. And I told you the bike was jetted to run up high so if you ran it just putting around at all it will foul the plug out fast. You HAVE to keep the rpm's up high to keep it cleaned out or you're going to be replacing plugs all the time. That bike runs perfect and starts up fine just like it has from day one, just do what I told you and nothing well go wrong.

you prolly flooded it... before you start it lay it on it side to drain the carb... just because you just changed the plug doesnt mean you cant foul it... i changed it 10mins later it was fouled... check your plug...

if that ever happens again and you are at the track and dont have a extra plug take the plug out and get you a lighter and heat up the end of the plug and thread it in really fast and put the plug on and it should start just alittle tip
