Default 01-03 GSXR 750 vs. 01-02 GSXR 1000 HELP TIKI DECIDE

Well most of you know im not a newb to riding. for those of you who dont know, here the stable list as of now

-1999 Kawi ZX6-R ( first bike, hated low end, only fun after 7000 rpms)
-1996 Suzuki GSX-R 750 (wonderful machine. comfortable, stable, easy to ride)
-2003 Suzuki GSX-R 1000 (hated this bike, too small, twitchy, hard seat, uncomfy)
-2006 Suzuki Haybusa limited ( awesome bike for carrying passenger, and commuting. large, but stupid fast, ran on regular gas!! sexy as hell)

Im biding my time till suzuki works out the kinks in their 08 busas so i wont be going back to a busa till late '09 or '10. in the meantime ive decided between a k3 750 and k1 1000. they look the same and probably feel the same, but what i wanna know is which is the more fun bike? I know when i had my 03 1000 it took too much restraint to really have fun. by the time you wound out ANY gear you were already 40+ mph over the speed limit. it got too light in the front too easy, and im a bigger guy at 6'2" 250lbs. I often ride double up with a passenger and that was the only downside to my 96 SRAD 750. the bike got sluggish. i want a bike that feels very planted like my 750 but also has the power to haul 2 ppl effortlessly. ive got plenty to spend but would like to keep it around 5500 which is easy with the prices ive seen.. so, between the two, which is the better bike to have? IMO nobody NEEDS a 1000... too much power for the street... BUT my last bike was a busa so im afaid ive been spoiled with the ability to carry a passenger comfortably and occasionally feel like chuck norris kicked me from behind.

the sound, the lack of top end, the vibration, and the maint. im a high end junkie. i live for 13-15k redlines and screaming engines. that and every vtwin ive ever ridden has been a turd. ducatis and aprillias and rc51s included.
