i dont know I have heard that spraying on the KLZE is bad, I dont know, I know some people are doing it, but I hvae been told that this is a too high compression engine for nitrous.

the debate comes down to a simple fact:

a head gasket is only gonna withstand a certain amount of cylinder pressure. lower compression allows for more SAFER amounts of nitrous where higher compression will probably benefit more from a lower amount of nitrous. (ie: 11.5:1 prolly ain't gonna like a 300hit as much as a 9.5:1 motor)

u have to remember I dont have forged shit like u muscle guys lol.

my low compression stock engine wouldn't handle a 150 shot as it is, so u have to think lower then ur forged v8 can take anything engines lol

Forged, not forged...doesn't make a whole lot of difference if you're running a safe tune. That's the whole key here. Run a safe tune and good gas and you can make as much power as the bottom end will withstand. That's how guys are getting away with spraying the piss out of the LS1's and new 4.6 motors, which are all over 10.0:1 and have some of the crappiest pistons known to man. Run a bad tune or bad gas, and you're going to start frying pistons and/or blowing head gaskets.

My last (stock) 4.6L Cobra engine burnt up some oil at Summit Point and broke a piston rod but did not crack the block. Now running forged internals in the new engine. With heavily modified engines it's not even a second thought in that decision.

My cam is pretty wild and is bearly streetable in my opinion. Driveshaft pinion angle is very steep due to the torque arm. Have to feather (ie: burn up) the SPEC stage II clutch on the Tremec TKO in traffic to prevent the clunk-a-clunk. Long tube headers are a pain.

Kinda longing for a stock setup right about now...

I'd slash my wrists before I'd ever go back to a stock setup
