What are the LT1 SS's and WS6's going for?
Looking to add either a 96-97 SS or WS6 LT1 or a 98-99 LS1 and just curious as to what they are going for back home.
Kinda have a few ideas, but this might be a street/strip car and the cobra more of a DD in good weather. Looking for both the be on spray but the F-body to be cammed as well<evil grin>

Look on ebay or ls1tech.com. ls1tech is prob going to be your best bet. Around here everyone seems to think there fbodies are worth alot more than they really are. The prices should drop some in the upcoming weeks with the winter coming up. At least thats my personal experiance and i have bought and sold about 6 or 7 93-02 fbodies in the last year

I have been looking on Ebay and they have some nice and decently priced LT1 SS's and WS6's and some nice low priced LS1's w/ 70-90k on them.
Right now the Lt1's are dropping bigtime since the LS1's are coming down.

Yeah well if you go with a LT1 i would just look for a reg one and stick the hood on it to save you some money. If you have the intention of making it a street strip car then i really see no reason to start with a ws6 or ss. The hood and some badges are about the only part you would end up keeping on it that makes it different from a reg. LT1 car. I would find a LS1 that wasn't abused with nitrous though. Much more potential on the stock shortblock.
