This is what I call sunburn
Ok yesterday at work we were supposed to go to Warrior tower and help out another unit sending Privates down the rapeell tower. It was raining, so a No-go, they cancel.
Afternoon rolls around and right after lunch they tell us hey goi help Delta Company at the tower, hurry they are waiting on you. Ok I get there, no one has fvcking sunscreen and its too late to get it now, training cant be stopped.
4 hours in the sun hooking up privates on a 75 foot tower to rappell and this is the result.
I have to wear my kevlar helmet tomorrow for a change of command ceremony. Next week I have my combatatives instructor course. A week of grappling and submissive holds.

gross, i had a burn like that after a couple days in south carolina... the kind where the skin doesn't dry up before it peels off.
definitely going to develop melanoma one of these days...

Damn man that sucks...I have been sunburned bad on my back before but never on my head..Best of luck dealing w/ it.....Stock up on some Aloe for sure..
