Default VCU - such a waste

Anyone else feel like they're wasting their time going to school? I could be making anywhere between $40 - 60k working on hyundai's full time right now, but instead I'm stuck here at school learning about crap that I'll never use in real life just to start out making $35k when I'm done. This blows, seriously.

i have always thought college is a waste period like you said nic thats why i will neevr go. unless you are guranteed to come out and make 100k a year then i dont see wasting all that money to have a college diploma and still be searching for a job in you field a year after you graduate

"I have never let my schooling interefere with my education." -- Mark Twain

Diploma is only a checklist item on a resume. Experience counts more in the real world. My skills and experience are at the top of my resume, universities, awards, and GPA are the lowest items there although the most prestigious.

Maybe its just in what you are studying. I am actually going to 90% (well...ok, 75%) of my classes (100% of major related courses) this semester. Im learning a LOT and im looking at the big picture in life. Gotta suffer a little to get the things you want in the end.
