Unemployed
Finally had more than I could take yesterday and bounced out of that place. Now I'm looking for another job and don't really want to settle for any less than $10/hr. Any ideas?

My youngest brother just got a job at Sheehy in Gaithersburg MD as a mechanic. Negotiated $15/hr with minimum 40 hrs/wk for first 6 months plus all training sessions available.
UPS will hire anyone who will work as an unquestioning zombie at night. Retail stores need night shift stockers for the holiday season, but will probably pay between $8-9/hr. Home Depot and Lowes might get you near that pay rate as a supervisor or after awhile.
If you want to stay in school during the day, flexible schedule may be a priority. Note that some management positions include tuition reimbursement. That's how I put myself through school.

hehehehehe. nothin wrong w/ zombies and yea they do hire almost anyone. ij ust had the greatest day man, this week kicks ass, IM me so i can telll ya about it cuz i'm taking your advice on the tuition thing and probably gonna stay after the news i got today!!!!!!!!

I think my place is still hiring. Not sure what the base pay is, but if youre working in the bay/ freezer your checks come close to a G after taxes and if your a drive you make over a G a paycheck after taxes. drivers get a base pay of $150/ day + commission
