Please be mindful of those members on slower dial-up connections and/or overseas on crappy networks.
Your profile page has a section to include a listing of all of your car's mods as well as a picture of your car. Scrolling through text much longer than the content of your posting is quite annoying. So is waiting for images to load.
As a courtesy, taglines should be kept minimal and without pictures. Your name, team name, *short* mod listing, timeslips, dyno info, and/or a favorite quote should take up no more than 4 lines. Consider also using the vB code "small" or a different color to make the text different from the content of your message.
Thanks for your cooperation. Add me to the "assholes" list. There is a poll as well. Respond if you'd like

you are like the kid at the playground who tells all the other kids that they cant be on the swing for more than 30 seconds (which is about how long it takes those pages to load). Let them have their fun. A few extra seconds to load a picture isnt going to hurt anyone, and you know where to find their post - you dont have to read all that stuff everytime.

Most of the time taken to load pages is from taglines. Without tagline images, the text-only pages load up in approx 2 seconds on a 56k modem. With images, can take 3 minutes or longer. Big difference.
When people are considerate of others, everyone gets to play (and read).

I dont see how it bothers you this much. I have dial up and my computer is really slow and it still doesnt take that long. I dont see why you are getting so worked up about it. Is that two or three minutes of your time really worth the time you are spending making it a bigger deal than it is?
