LS1 in a foxbody.... or sbc would be alot cheaper then a ls1. It really depends on your goals and what et you want to run. 15k or less isn't much when you start going turbo.

I'd just narrow it to 94-95.
Mod motors can be great, it just takes a little more money to do so.
