So I PM'd a guy on Mustangworld who is at the same base I will be for a year...
Told him the Army activated me for a year to come be a MP Drill Instructor at Ft. Leonard wood, Missouri, and this is his reply to my questions...lol..
Just fucking great...lol. Atleast I will have over 20k in the bank when I get home.
Oh man, there isn't jack **** here. Springfield is an hour west and St. Louis is 2 hours east. St Roberts, the town outside the gate doesn't have anything good. Resturants ect... There is a Walmart supercenter that is about it. The nearest track is in Rogersville about an hour away.
BTW, PM threestablepony he is an E-7 instructor at the MP school. He should be able to give you some more insight, he has been stationed here a couple of years. Let me know when you get here.

That is true or Ft Hunter Ligget. I was at Hunter ligget for a month and there isnt anything there, not even cell phone reception or civilization.
