Shop recommendation - 97 Honda Accord

Looking for recommendations for a shop to take my 97 Honda Accord too.

I have an oil leak that needs diagnosing/fixing and rear wheel bearings need replacing.

Thanks.

I did. All the threads are 2+ years old and the majority of them are recommendations in NOVA.

I'm looking for a shop in the Richmond area. To work on a standard Accord.

Did you ever think about not being cheap and taking it to Honda?

Just curious.

I did consider the Honda dealer on Broad St. But as you are aware this option comes with a higher price.

I am sure there are shops in the Richmond area that can do the work, for non dealer rates, to the same standard.

Are you saying I shouldn't use a shop that isn't a Honda dealer?

Just do your homework before you take it to "honda". I know plenty of people who have taken their vehicles to a dealership and have had worse experiences if they would have taken it to a mom and pop repair shop. Just read reviews.

+1. Some of the best Honda mechanics in Richmond, and very fairly priced. Would recommend them for something of this nature since it isn't performance oriented, etc. They more-so work on factory cars, and do warranty work for Honda's.

Thanks. I will stop by there on Monday. Wallace sounds like the kind of place I am looking for.

Do they mind if the customer supplies the parts?

Just want to update this.

I had the oil pressure switch replaced at Wallace Automotive. They charged $37 labour and $20 for an OEM pressure switch.

I strongly recommend them.

I go here. They can get three of everything and Harry can get the big ones too; even if you need them by tonight.
