There will be another Car meet at Pepboys in Woodbridge on Sunday Sept. 5th from 10-6pm. Many of you have attended previous events and they have usually turned out well. As usual we will have music and food all day long. Our last meet was to gather donations for Micah Ministries homeless shelter. We collected over 25 large bags of clothes throughout the day and the event was an overall success. This event, all proceeds will go to the "NOW", which is a charity fund that assists victims of domestic violence and family abuse. The NOW has helped families with assistance ranging from finding them a safe shelter, helping them pay for their utilities, groceries or other immediate family needs, arranging transportation or bus fare, etc . The NOW maintains contact with the victims and families and is not just a one time assistance program, they continue to assist the victims and their families whenever they are in need. We will be taking cash and check payments. More information will be available at the meet. We look forward to seeing everyone there.
