RD 2010 Friday Night Street Night(begins 4/2)
Just getting this one started. Next week it all begins again. I won't be racing the Camaro this year, but will be spectating.

You can make your VMP street night thread if you want.
Many people on here happen to frequent RD more than VMP, plus it is closer. Besides Brian@VMP still fucking owes RPM and Tri Cities Mustang club(no longer around) a free track rental for us helping him out(we worked the event and the free track rental was our compensations) with the 2002 Inaugural Musclecar Powerfest. He backed out of the deal after the fact.

the people that work Richmond rarely change and i know most them, the place is closer, its where most of my friends regular, and i just plain have more fun at the place racing or not. and 4/2 count me in!

I'm not saying I like VMP more than Richmond as they are about the same as far as the track itself. Just curious as to why? That's messed up that they owe you a free track rental and haven't come through. Is there anything you can do or did he just say no?

The tracks are very different, but RD is much closer, I like the people who run the track, many friends go there, etc.
The dates kept getting moved back and then it became we can't do it this year, to then no other repsonse.

i stopped going to vmp and started going to richmond a couple years ago because im able to get 10-12 runs in at richmond and maybe 3 in at vmp. just too many people break at vmp and it takes them 45 minutes to an hour to clean each one it seems. and richmond is a true street car night as to where vmp gears their friday nights more towards their muscle street, street outlaw and so on... and they dont really care much about the cars there just for test and tune. ill be at richmond friday night as well.

I agree with the exception of RD is a true streetcar night. There are a few that borderline (on the other side) of being a streetcar.

I never ran at RD before, but Im planning on attending alot of their street night events this year. Theres simply more imports at RD, theres a shortage of them that run at VMP.
Unfortunately, Ill be at VMP on 4-2-10 for Ladies Night, they got some BIG money grudge races going down that I GOTTA see. But Im definitely gonna catch some RD Fridays, thoh.
