so, from 9.30 till 7p today i started putting the jungle gym inside the new car.

Wolfe Racecraft 10pt NHRA spec cage. Fully jig-notched and ready to weld.

still have the rear down bars to install tomorrow, which go over the seat and allow me to keep the rear seat and looks like maybe my rear speakers

Nice. I didn't realize a 10 point included a bar behind the dash area? Looks like a major pain in the ass. I can't stand dealing with pulling dashes.

So is this going to be another street car or will this be pure race car? I'm assuming more of a race car with a cage like that?

yes, MAJOR pain in the ass. with the front down bars and the dash bar i have alot more trimming to do when i put the interior back in the car.

this is going to be another street car, if anything, more-so than the 85 was. Complete working factory instruments, door panels, pdl, pw, stereo, etc. it's gonna be a lil more special than the last one, that's for sure

nice cage but some of those welds look a little sloppy. I understand about "you get what you paid for" but you might want him to clean a few of those up. I'd hate to take a crash and then a strut to the chest because the coffee was a little too strong for him.
