GMC Yukon/Denali Speedometer Repair

I got a 2004 Denali with the broken speedometer issue. The dealership won't cover it because it wasn't a recall item, and I don't want to pay $300+ for something that should've been covered.

Does anyone know of any place local that can do the repair?

Southern Electronics on southside does speedometer calibrations and repairs...might be worth giving them a call

My cost is $165 Rhee. If you can remove and install cluster. Not hard.

Just need vin #, mileage, and payment info to get cluster.

That's because Southern Electronics is the company that does the repairs for the dealers.......although I am surprised the dealer didn't mark up the price.......

They did. They quoted him with installation. Its like $175 either way. But southerns work tends to re-fail all the time; so I am told.

We use a company called U.S Electronics for our cars. It's $150 and they take a $100 core that gets refunded. They are fast, and will refurb the whole cluster. Even add the trans temp gauge for no extra charge.
