I have a 5 speed manual 1988 Honda Civic nothin done yet, i have the parts in my room but when i get on the gas hard and say get about 15 in first gear the car shakes then i shift to second and i have to shift at 30 mph or the car will shut off. Can someone tell me why this is happeing, i dont wanna put the stuff i have in my room on and this freaking motor blows.

could be that your rotors are in need of turning or you need a front end alignment and when it starts shaking your ignition control module isnt reading or may be loose thats what controls flow of your fuel through your injectors and when that happens your car shuts off.........just a thought

i try that and see what happens because it contiues to shake and want go any faster until u shift
