body kit painting
does anyone know anyplace that will paint just the body kit to match my car? i have the color code its KY/M6857. the cheapest method i've found so far is getting this http://www.touchuppaintonline.com/buy/35677. i dont want to look like a ricer tho so i was wondering if anyone knew anyother ways under $100? i called maaco and they said anywhere in the ballpark of $250-$400. and i dont have anymore than $100 in my pocket anyway. and the kit has to go on the car because theres no other place to put it for the time being.
so please help me out. if anyone knows any auto supply stores around..

Re: body kit painting
I guarantee you will get what you pay for on this. In sincere honesty, take off the body kit if you haven't already, and wait and save to have it done right. Though I don't discourage doing it yourself, it is very difficult to match paint, even if your do get paint with the same "paint code". Not only that, there is a shit ton of prep work to have it done right. If you do it yourself, do the research, or save up, $400 seems like a fair price. Otherwise, you will be rice!

Re: body kit painting
yea, i feel like such a ricer with it.. i dont have it on the car because the paint doesnt match obviously, and i know it will look very subtle when it's paint matched. ill take it by maaco tommorrow to see what they say about the price and such..

i don't see how maaco's trying to charge $250-400 if they will paint a whole car for $300. imo i don't see why you would waste you time and money to paint it when you'll still be a ricer lol. just spray bomb it black or something
